Import test cases

Bring existing test cases into Lucius AI from a CSV file, then review, parse, and generate them.

Import from a CSV file#

Import lets you bring existing test cases into Lucius AI in bulk from a CSV file — useful when migrating a test-case repository instead of recreating every scenario by hand.

    Open Import

    From the Test Cases workspace, select Import.

  2. 02

    Download the template

    Select Download template to get the supported CSV format.

  3. 03

    Upload your file

    Drag and drop the CSV, or choose a file to upload.

  4. 04

    Name the import

    Lucius AI fills in a name from the file; adjust it if needed.

  5. 05

    Import

    Select Import. Lucius AI processes the file and confirms how many test cases were found.

    Review and confirm

    Select or deselect the test cases to bring in — each can be expanded to check its folder path and instructions — then select Confirm Import.

Parsing and generation#

Imported test cases appear under the Imported Test Cases tab, where you can parse them individually or all at once.

  • Parse an individual test case, or use Parse at the top of the section to process every imported test case together.
  • Parsing progress moves through Queued → Parsing → Parsed for each test case.
  • Generation continues from there: Generating → Generation Success, or Failed if it could not complete.
